Founder & President
Kayla Willis
Kayla Willis' academic and professional work sits at the intersection of education policy, community engagement, and equity-centered advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Fisk University and holds a Master of Science in Political Analytics from Columbia University, where she served as the program’s first HBCU Fellow.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Kayla is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., serves on the board of ClearHeart Global, and is actively involved with the Greater Fisk Alumni Association. Kayla aspires to continue her work in Atlanta through education, policy, and public service. Currently, Kayla works as a Program Coordinator for the Office of Strategic Programs under the State Road and Tollway Authority.

Internal Vice President
Khadirah Muhammad
Khadirah Muhammad received her Bachelor's degree in Prelaw Political Science major with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership at Georgia State University. She is currently a 6th-grade English Language Arts educator at Chattahoochee Hills Charter School.
In addition to her service with MTN, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a Legal Administrative Assistant for KMCL, and often seeks out ways to be civically engaged within her community. Khadirah plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a Juris Doctorate to further her career focus on civil and human rights advocacy, amplifying her impact on marginalized communities.

External Vice President
Aspen Humes
Aspen Humes received her Master's degree in Public Health at Georgia State University with a focus on health behavior and communication. Her experience includes working as a contractor for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), supporting organizational development and leadership initiatives. Currently, Aspen is a Community Health Fellow for the American Public Health Association for Kaiser Permanente.
Aspen is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she actively contributes to service and community-focused projects. With expertise in project management, strategic communication, and health intervention planning, she is dedicated to advancing equity and creating comprehensive and culturally relevant public health solutions.

Director of Cohort Affairs
Taylar Davis
Taylar Davis received her BS in Public Health with an Emphasis in Health Education and Promotion from Georgia Southern University. She is a master's candidate at Mercer University, planning to receive her degree in Health Informatics in the Spring of 2026.
During college, she was involved in numerous organizations, including Leading Women of Tomorrow’s executive board and the 2022 Cohort team of More than Numbers. Beyond her employment for the city of Atlanta, she works in various committees that combine public health and youth development. She is passionate about helping overlooked communities obtain access to proper education and healthcare.

Operations Coordinator
Kahnia Bell
Kahnia Bell is an alumna from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, receiving her BS in Civil Engineering in 2023. She currently works for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as a Project Engineer. Throughout her college career, she was a member of plenty organizations whose purpose was to mentor and support students transitioning into college. One of her passions is bringing African American women into the construction industry and supporting their growth and success.

Engagement Coordinator
Summer Clark
Summer Clark is a recent graduate from Georgia State University with a B.B.A. in Hospitality Management and a minor in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies. Summer was a well recognized student leader receiving a Royal Flame Leadership Award along with the Nell Hamilton Trotter Student Leadership Award. Summer served as President of 4 organizations and also received 10+ scholarships while in school. Summer is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. and a competition choreographer for their home dance studio. Summer is actively pursuing a career path in community engagement and development.

Financial Coordinator
Tre'von Conner
Tre’von is a native of Mobile, Alabama, and a graduate of Alabama State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. During his time there, he participated in student government, performed with the Mighty Marching Hornets Band, and was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
He later attended Columbia University as an HBCU Fellow, earning a master’s degree in Information and Knowledge Strategy.
He currently serves as an associate consultant in financial services in Atlanta and aspires to be a change agent in his community by encouraging lifelong learning and promoting economic mobility through ownership.

Academic Coordinator
Mia Trapp
Mia Trapp earned her B.S. in Marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Capital Development. Post graduation she began her career as a District Sales Manager at Frito-Lay and is a proud member of the Sigma Omicron Zeta Graduate Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She currently works as a Business Development Associate for the Collective Blueprint, a nonprofit organization that builds socioeconomic mobility for young adults. Passionate about professional development, she is committed to fostering meaningful connections and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all spaces.

Administrative Coordinator
Amaya Griffin
Amaya Griffin received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Georgia State University. With hands-on and academic experience at nonprofits that tackle inequality in the South, including the E Pluribus Unum Fund and the Feminist Women's Health Center, Amaya is passionate about addressing social justice issues. After graduation, Amaya plans to pursue a career in urban planning, where she aims to address disparities in education, housing, and healthcare.

Content Coordinator
Evan Willis
Evan Willis is a 2026 graduate from Albany State University, receiving his BA in Mass Communications. His work has a strong focus on media production, where he has gained experience working as a Production Assistant for the ASU Broadcast Center. He has a passion for storytelling through film and aims to bring creativity and technical skills to every project.
Evan was a member of the 2nd Cohort of the MTN College Preparatory Program and hopes to use his experience as a program member to expand MTN and its impact on Greater Atlanta.

Obamide Samaye
Oba Samaye received his A.B. In Economics from the University of Georgia. He earned a M.S. in Higher Education Administration at Texas A&M University. Oba returned to UGA to serve as their Senior Coordinator for Leadership. Oba has a passion for supporting students in their college journey and helping them in their growth and success.

Our organization is dedicated to strengthening our network among our volunteers, alumni, supporters, and partners. Our advisory board's voice, experiences, and connection to MTN can help us increase the impact on the communities we serve.
